Brian on Fox and Friends now says the Governor took a Cruise...
This is getting weirder!!

the third one......
You couldn’t be “righter” if you tried.
If we want to win the next one, everyone should take heed of what you just said. EVERYONE.
And reported by that oh-so-honest media. I trust NOTHING they say, period. Why are you helping their cause to lynch a good man ?
I wish the press were half as interested in how much State money and how many State resources Gov Kaine has used galivanting around the country raising funds for Dem candidates. No one knows the answers because he won’t release his travel records. Or maybe the national media should get interested in how the taxpayers of NC paid over $100,000.00 for the Gov’s wife to visit Russia. Or how a job was created for her at NC State. I should say a huge salary was created for her because her position never had a job description. I am refering to Easley who was the Gov of NC when those events happened. But no, the drivebys and too many Freepers would rather give a GOP Gov a colonoscopy because he takes a mini vacation and, oh dear me, didn’t notify the entire world. Just more of the same old double standard, and I refuse to participate in it. It also saddens me to see so many so called Conservatives trying to dictate how other people live their lives and do their jobs.
but consider the fact that i was one of the original fredheads and my concerns are exactly the same as those you are attacking as sleazy from the romneybots. my point is that this has nothing to do with that. questioning politicians, who are all too human and disappoint all too often, isn’t sleazy.
Thank you.
hmmmm.....Appalachian Trail in Argentina?? I suppose it’s just a typo....what a mess!
The media didn’t ‘say’ it. It is a quote from the governor’s own press secretary. I’m not lynching anyone. Sanford put himself in this predicament.
questioning a politician’s behavior is NOT slandering him, not lynching him, it is being a pragmatist in the world of politics. something that PKM, who has been personally active in electing candidates, knows all about. it is naive to think that you can hold a candidate sacrosanct from criticism when he himself is providing the fodder with which he is being attacked. YOU are a better person than to impugn fellow freepers who are pragmatic about politics and leery of this demonstration of either a) political naivete OR b) untoward behavior, the press conference will tell us which, but either of which is troubling in a politician seeking higher ofc.
Indeed, a mess of Sanford’s own making.
I do hope he has a plausible explanation, I really do.
The media reported “it.” I don’t trust what they have to say about Conservative Republicans.
PKM and I have exchanged FReepmail, we know each other well enough as FReepers. That’s why I was highly disappointed to see her rush to condemn here.
.Cap and tax is next folks...stay focused on the ball and forget the freak shows.
____________
I agree.
A “mess” of the media’s making.
If he can outmanouver Sanford, maybe Bauer should be the candidate for President.
Hmmm, first he was ‘writing,’ then hiking in the woods, then on a cruise, now driving along the Argentina coast. They’ve had this guy bouncing around the world like a ping pong ball.
So the guy travels, without any security, to a country that’s notorious for foriegn kidnappings. Without telling anybody. Without contacting the American embassy in Arg.
And Sanford wonders ‘what all the fuss is about.’
Post 511
I was going to respond to your post but couldn’t find a coherent point to respond to... sorry.
me too.
first he was writing, then hiking, then on a cruise, now he’s driving on a coast that is poor at best for driving. From Yahoo-
“Trying to drive along the coast could frustrate a weekend visitor to Argentina. In Buenos Aires, the Avenida Costanera is the only coastal road, and it’s less than two miles long. Reaching coastal resorts to the south requires a drive of nearly four hours on an inland highway with views of endless cattle ranches. To the north is a river delta of islands reached only by boat.”
What is more implausible imho, is that yesterday his wife told CNN she still hadn’t spoken to him and didn’t know where he was. The jig was up by then. She should have come clean about the entire situation. But she didn’t.
“A mess of the medias making.”
Actually the order of mess making would be:
1. Sanford
2. SC state leaders.
3. MSM
