The area was not called "Syria Palestina" until 139CE, when the Romans tried to deJudaize the area after the Bar Kochba revolt. It is a little like calling Jerusalem Aelia Capitolina . It is anarchronistic and insulting.

139 CE? Who the hell uses CE? THAT is pretty insulting in itself.... well, at least to some trains of thought. ;)

But honestly, they gave it the name 1870 years ago... that’s like 69 times my age. Sure it may be Anachronistic, but insulting? If there’s one thing that political correctness should show you is that ANYTHING can be insulting to ANYONE.
