Sure beats the snot outta Death to America which used to be the only one they knew. Who says you cant teach an old population a new chant? Most of the population isn't old enough to even remember those days. And many (okay, some -- I don't have numbers) who do regret those days; even among those who supported the revolution. So I hear.

Yeah, probably just us “old Americans” who remember the hostages and those Muzzies chanting in front of the old embassy. The current uprising seems long overdue to me, I just wish our Dear Leader seemed like he wanted to throw a little support their way. We get blamed for meddling whether we are or not, so why not just meddle?

A lot of the older ones remember being forced into the military or could not find a job unless the local mullah had endorsed it. I wonder just how many of those folks still have their plastic keys issued to them prior to going into battle against the Iraqi’s in order to get into heaven should they die. Also, I wonder how many remember the children that were born while the Shah was in power being forced to ride into mine fields by the Republican Guard and mullahs?
