Curious ... what exactly did they do? Trespassing? Sabotage?
Fourteen of them entered a mountaintop mine site in twilight west virginia from the woods, after camping there all night trying to catch the miners at shift change so they wouldnt catch enough of them to give them trouble.
They entered the site, encountered several miners who told them to get off the property.
They climed onto a drag line, which is essentially a giant crane with a 200+ foot high twin boom on it. It is designed to dig into the mountain from the top looking for coal.
The miners threw two crane operators off the drag line and climbed to the top of the boom on both sides, trying to hang one of their silly banners.
They refused to come down, and deputies and troopers had to climb up and force them down. They also threatened to spill large nalgene bottles of urine on anyone who climbed up after them.
