I am getting really poor reception on my radio, and I heard him say multiple times that private ins. companies should not be "afraid" of the public option.
Did any of the reporters tell him that they are not afraid of the public option, but of the government subsidies that public option would receive, thus making it a non competitive deal?

sort of, but Obama said people would lose their employer coverage anyway if his plan did not pass because the costs are going to go up and employers will not be able to afford it anyway.
