there is some really discouraging video footage out on the web about attempted budget cuts in Caleeforrniah. Several state legislators in a public meeting, outlining clearly with figures and graphs that “we have no more money”, only to be shouted down by stomping and shouting in the audience, carried out by people wearing red t-shirts bearing some union logo. Obviously they prevailed.

Probably the civil servant union ... I read earlier 246 former San Francisco employees receive pensions in excess of $100,000 a year. Fifteen are above $150,000. They are willing to fight to preserve their comfortable work free way of life.
