Besides thinking his absence is weird, I noticed that the government was able to quickly track the location of his cellphone.

Which they will do...if the police request it. Obviously there is more to this than meets the eye.

Yep. Usually doesn't make the news though.

Anyway, more than one point there. Everybody with a cellphone is trackable; and somebody saw a need to track the governor using surveillance means that are supposed to be available only to detect or prevent crime/terrorism.

Very odd. I wonder if he is having a medical problem. I hope it is nothing illicit. We don’t need the media screaming about yet another Republican “scandal.”

This sounds like the 1990s when Gov Kirk Fordice from Miss. went off without any staff or security. On his return home he got into a bad auto accident.
