Wow. I’d have been tempted to shoot him too.

Yeah, but it worked out for the best. Ive talked five people out of becoming subway franchisees.

I figure I cost Fred about $2 million in lost revenues.

One word to solve your sub sandwich dilemma, Jeff:

Publix

I like the way you think. Figure out where it’ll hurt them most to get hit, then swing for the bleachers. ;-)

Oh, Publix does make some good ones! I love the Italian wrap. And the Cuban sandwich, too. Too bad the closest Publix is like around 10 miles away! (very rural part of SR40 over here!).
I know it's not good for ya, but I like Popeye's better than KFC (although the Grilled stuff is . . not bad). But why is there only one Popeye's in all Ocala!!!! (not a real question, just imploring, LOL!).

Winn-Dixie is advertising $5 foot long subs, but I haven't tried any of their deli stuff. I'd probably try something from Sweetbay first, as they seem more . . . upscale than WD.

Also, as long as using Uncle Sugar as a club isn’t off limits, you could file a complaint with the DA for extortion for trying to get you to sell against your will. The security videos from the store of the yuks coming in and throwing their weight around might have looked even more extort-y without sound. I bet without sound the prick looked just like Sammy the Made Guy walking in and saying “Hey, AAD, nice place you got here. Shame if anything happened to it.”

Kinda late though, it was ten years ago. May 20 1998 I walked out the door of that restaurant a free man.

Yeah, I meant at the time. After I posted I realized I was a little unclear.
