Why would you say the OP is an idiot? Ive heard of, and KNOW of several situations JUST LIKE IT. It’s designed to make a huge gain for the woman in divorce proceedings, and works beautifully. The male cannot protect any assets while incarcerated, and the female wins bigtime.
Sure, it’s sleazy, and in some cases gets the man killed, but if you have any experience with divorce situations, you would know this is often the womans goal once they have completed using the man, and only wants his assets.
Don’t get married without a prenuptial agreement.
