Are you sure Scooter actually served jail time? I thought Bush’s pardon upheld the jury verdict but wiped out the jail time. Just wondering...
IIRC there were emails that someone tried to destroy.
Maybe not. I think he paid a fine, though.
Perhaps I should've said Stewart and Libby were sentenced for lying to the FBI.
Joe is correct on this. Libby was supposed to serve time but President Bush commuted the sentence and Libby remained free. The original conviction still stands though.
