IRAN: In a rock fight, 10,000 Protestors win
But you had know way of knowing that...and the more the merrier anyway.
Did a search....but nada. Different search words I guess.
I’m not quite sure that the mullahs are losing here. John Bolton had an informative piece in Politico. Good read.
Little battles while they lose the war. These protests are getting nowhere so far. And without a strong Obama (oxymoron), this resistance will come to nothing.
That’s inspiring!
I think you’re about right.
A large, disorganized, out of control mob will lose to a small, well armed, trained, motivated, led, and disciplined army darn near every time.
This Raftenjani cat who probably did have the election stolen out from under him might be a passing fair politician, but from what I’m seeing he is no LEADER by any means.
If he really wants to effect positive change, he should know that the Obamanation is not to be relied upon in the least, nor will any other nation with the possible exception of Israel (and the Iranians have no love for them) will stick up for them or offer any tangible support either.
He should be organizing an effective underground resistance movement in stead of having his supporters running wild in the streets getting themselves killed and being sitting ducks not only for the Basiji thugs, but for the hired killers from Hezbulla, Hamaas, Al Quieda and such as well, who we may safely assume the Mullahs are bringing in to do their dirty work for them.
The Police we see in this clip are waving sticks, throwing rocks back at the crowd and such before running away - but notice that they are not unloading machine guns or popping serin nerve gas on essentially their own people.
Chances are that neither they nor the native “Revolutionary Guard” will do that.
The Arabs, however, will have no such inhibitions when it comes to slaughtering Persians, any more than the Mongolians had a problem with mowing down Chinese Protesters in Tienanmen Square.
I don’t know about you, but I have a bad feeling about this whole Iranian thing; I don’t think that it’s going to end well at all.
Raftenjani’s incompetence as a true leader is going to get a lot of his loyal supporters hurt, jailed, and probably killed. When the smoke clears, the incumbent ruling elite will probably still be on the throne working feverishly to build their first nuke, which they will lose no time in using on Israel.
Then after the “Sampson Option” is triggered, many if not most of the surviving Iranian People will either be vaporized or incinerated in the certainly devastating nuclear retaliation.
They might be the lucky ones.
Many if not most of the survivors will die a slow, agonal death from the horrible radiation burns and poisoning.
These Iranians by and large don’t seem like bad people at all, and their virtual extermination as a result of the suicidal fanaticism of their rulers will be a terrible tragedy for all humankind, IMHO.
They are a brave, creative, and passionate people, and I cant help but respect and admire them for it.
Such few as might survive the consequences of their Tyrant’s madness may well regret their missed opportunity back in June of 2009, when if they had only gotten organized and had been competently led, they might have been able to have taken their country back...
...Before it was too late.
