Thatcher didn't mind giving it to Ronnie either. That's one of the many reasons he was so fond of her...LOL.
In his book on Reagan, Thatcher and the Pope, John O'Sullivan recounts the story of Reagan being in a meeting and taking a call from her and she was thundering down the line at him about something or other they had a disagreement on. He held the phone up so people in the room could hear and said "Isn't she wonderful?"
That sounds so much like Reagan, one of the greatest presidents of this country and we need another just like him.
Reagan used humor qwuite a bit to throw his opponents off of their stride but his humor could not only be funny but very pointed and stinging as well which was very appropriate for the man.
Much like Lincoln too in that humor regard as well and not many people know that about Lincoln.
