Everyone way predicting much the same about Bill Clinton back in mid-1993.

Clinton started out with one disaster after another...after 6 months even the liberal media was down on him. Things began to turn around when he had a Republican Congress and the media persuaded the public that Congress had "shut down" the government in a fit of pique.

Remember Nixon in 1972 and Clinton in 1996. An unscrupulous President can do a lot of things to screw up the other party's nominating process, and the Chicago machine around Obama will probably make CREEP look like a Sunday school picnic when it comes to dirty tricks and illegal behavior. All Obama has to do to be re-elected is to make sure the Republicans don't nominate someone with widespread appeal.

Yes, I agree that stopping Obama in 2012 will be most difficult.

Let's not forget that Obama and the people around him are very, very clever, and they are clever enough to come up with excuses and reasons why Obama does not have to provide legal documents to prove that he is eligible to be President of the United States under the laws of the Constitution of the United States.

For instance, Obama's camp will no doubt come up with clever legal reasons why President Obama does not have to provide his Hawaii long form birth certificate when he signs routine eligibility forms required in most states before a presidential candidate can get his name on the state primary ballots.

Yes, Obama will be a most difficult candidate to defeat in 2012 if he runs for a second term for President of the United States. No doubt about it.
