I’m praying the regime changes but whether that would bring a significant difference in Iran’s foreign policy stance, I don’t think so.

Unlikely to be worse though.

Even if it ends up Mousavi, he will know that a popular uprising that brought down the likes of Khamenie and Ahmadinejad, could also do the same to him if he does not maintain more liberty for the people.

That will not be lost on him...or on the people themselves.

Recall that after September 11th thousands of Iranians were chanting “ USA, USA “ during a soccer match much to the frustration of the Iranian Police.

They are the most Western of Middle Eastern countries. From all I have read and studied of Iran over the years I’m convinced the vast majority of Persians have no interest in having to live under Islamic law.
