Please watch the video showing this.
In a rock fight 10,000 protestors win
"There is only one force of history that can break the reign of hatred and resentment, and expose the pretensions of tyrants, and reward the hopes of thedecent and tolerant, and that is the force of human freedom.
"All who live in tyranny and hopelessness can know: The United States will not ignore your oppression, or excuse your oppressors. When you stand for your liberty, we willstand with you.
"Democratic reformers facing repression, prison or exile can know: America sees you for who you are -- the future leaders of your free country.
"The rulers of outlaw regimes can know that we still believe as Abraham Lincoln did: "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves; and, under the ruleof a just God, cannot long retain it."

URGENT: HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT IRANIAN PROTESTORS RIGHT NOW...ON TWITTER
AMERICANS SUPPORTING IRAN LIBERTY
AMERICANS DON'T NEED OBAMA SPEAKING FOR THEM, WE'RE FREE AND CAN SPEAK FOR OURSELVES

ALL of them. Theyre just labeled Winchester.
Or Starline, Hornady or even Fedderal.
Fox just showed a clip with one of the motorcycles down and the protesters closing in on the basij. They cut away too quickly to see what followed.
Mousavi is not quite as bad as Imanutjob, close, but he wants to get rid of the Basij and give women more rights. He is still one of the Mullahs men. The Iranians need to get rid of the Mullahs and start a whole new form of government, one that isn’t run by religion(especially Islam)
You don’t want to be one of those Basij bikers when the bike goes down. It’s a great tactic when it’s many bikers against a few demonstrators.
But let that bike go down in a crowd, adn there will be hell to pay.
Rocks aren’t going to do it.
I watched some of the streaming video and I’d classify this as a demonstration.
Protesters need to overpower some of the soldiers and get some arms.
And, if we are thinking Iran’s attitude toward having nuclear weapons would change with a new regime, nope.
The polls I’ve read shows overwhelming support for nukes, both sides.
I’ve got a slingshot or 2 around here.
That would give new meaning to “road rash”.
FYI...I am telling the Iranians on twitter to remember this: When the bullets start flying more thickly, then should you win your liberty vow to NEVER AGAIN be disarmed. 80 million armed Americans means there will be no Basij in America, ever.In America everyone is fat in front of a television. Iranians still have the social cohesion and the cajones to stand up to their government. Don't, for a moment, think that you are in *any* way superior.
Mousavi campaigned for freedom of expression and for privatization and against an alms-based economy.
I would call it a start.
“...80 million armed Americans means
there will be no Basij in America, ever...”
-
That does not mean that it will not happen;
but it does mean that it would be more deadly.
I am interested and learning from the tactics
that are being use on both sides of this conflict.
WE need to be releasing the 100’s of 1000’s of confiscated AKs
that we must have right next door in Iraq .
They need small arms , they need them now .
This is our best and possibly ONLY chance to depose the
mad mullahs , before they command nukes .
We need to really go for it and get it done .
Whatever it takes .
Send the arms
ps: people need to remember all the U.S. Soldiers that have died from Iranian origin IED (enhanced) in the last few years . This is the time to avenge all of them .
“...Protesters need to overpower some of the soldiers and get some arms...”

i.e., they need to learn how to “trade up”.
“But let that bike go down in a crowd, ann there will be hell to pay.”
There is a photo linked to another thread that showed a protestor with a baton going after one of the Bikers. His bike is down in the background, with another biker riding away. One can only hope it turned out good for the protester.
I understand why many people are encouraged and sympathize with the revolutionaries, it’s hard not to root for rock throwers against an armed government. That said, it will be more of the same imo. It will be more of the same as far as the west is concerned. For the people themselves, they may be better off. They will still be taught to hate us as Mousavi and Akmadinijad hate us. Mousavi supported the Iran hostage taking.

There's some truth to what you say. However don't for a moment think that at least 40% of America doesn't still carry the torch for freedom in the world.
The right keep and bear arms shall not be regulated. The manufacturing, sales, and transportation of arms and ammunition shall not be regulated or taxed.
My nephew called me early this morning from Iraq.
He is located at a base near the Iranian border.
There were some interesting things in what he said;
and in what he did not say;
and which of my questions he would answer;
and which of my questions he would not answer.
Iranians are tough mofos. You’re forgetting Lebanese, Tunesians and Turks though. Lebanese and Turkish women especially.
I saw several taken down yesterday. One was pummeled badly before some of the protestors themselves saved him.
And I tell my liberal friends, that if they ever need to defend ourselves, they should hide behind an armed freeper.
