I am with you in that train of thought. #1, It’s Democrats, #2, It’s Frank Lautenberg, #3 It’s more control.....the list can go on.

“...a new government report.” Tells us it’s current, which means to me the source is Democrat controlled, therefore to me means the results are designed to meet their agenda.

Right there is a line that means in the manner it is written IMO that they (Democrats) seek easier excuses for disqualifying potential gun buyers.
Ultimately they wish to create a club-like atmosphere in which one will feel privileged, and as a member of their “In crowd” to be allowed to own a weapon, with all their restrictions on placement in the home, gun locks, weapons dismemberment, etc. of course.
If the Left cannot steal that which is the dream of somebody else’s as a tool to draw the unsuspecting into their collective, they recognize the dreams, the desires common to all people, and create the various illusions necessary to draw those unsuspecting into their collective.
