If there were Iranian soldiers fighting against a pro-US government in Mexico, I’d imagine we’d be sending the Mexican Army some lethal goodies to kill Iranian soldiers (at the very least).

Neither Saddam or the current government were/are pro Iranian. So your excuse wont hold water, and it surprises me to find something like that on Free Republic.
