I would say your description is spot on. Right now Rahm and the boys have been able to keep them in check, but lately they have been disagreeing on some agenda items. Evan Bayh used to be a typical blue-dog, but he lurched to the left with the current administration, but even he has started to go back towards the middle.
Thanks - let’s see how things shake out. Outside of some staged votes, I don’t see the Blue Dogs doing much. Hopefully for the sake of this country, they do.
