Onward Christian Soldiers
Dear God:
I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman,
Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, or National Guardsman
Feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord;

Dear God.
Tonight I'm thinking about my folks back home. Frequently I Avoid thinking about them, primarily because thinking about them pulls on my heartstrings. But seldom are they out of my thoughts. I re-read old letters, look at pictures with such regularity that I see fine details, and of course I count the days.
Lord, bless my loved ones and keep them in the hollow of your hand.
