Carmen Mercer President of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps extends the sympathies for the loss of life in an unfortunate criminal act of violence that led to the deaths of a father and 9-year-old girl during a home invasion in Arivaca, Arizona.
"Our entire country and especially our border region with Mexico has been plagued by senseless violence for decades. It seems the violence can almost always be traced back to illegal drugs and the crimes and corruption it breeds. That is definitely the case in the Arivaca murders."
"This is nothing more than criminals preying on criminals for profit and out of greed, with no regard for human life."

The May 30 killings rocked an anti-illegal immigration movement that prides itself on being vocal but not violent, and added to a growing list of activists accused of using violence to advance their aims.
Forde and two men dressed up as Border Patrol agents and broke into the southern Arizona home of a man they thought was a drug dealer, hunting for money or drugs to sell. They found neither, but killed the man and his 9-year-old daughter.
Arivaca is a small ‘cowtown’ about 30 miles SW of Tucson. It is on the crossroads of some of the most flagrant routes of the illegal trade in humans and drugs in this area of Arizona. It is a blinkin’ war zone and a constant danger to unarmed citizens. Even the INS people will not travel alone down there. Go armed or don’t go there!
And the Washington Post is trying to give credence to the right wing extremest angle.
FNC spewed the same angle. I personally saw FNC parrot the identical profile.

FNC is popular with the easily led lemmings who for whatever reason, think it's some kind of conservative television broadcast station.
The Kos schmucks keep referring to her pitiful band as “Minutemen”, hoping no one will notice and the outrage will spread.
They have run stories on this all this time and now we are learning this. They want to do in the Minutemen.
