These idiots want control of the means of production but have no respect for it or those who built it.

So much for being “the best private school”.

I just read “Raven” by Tim Reiterman. It amazed me that so many people were duped by Jim Jones’ communist/socialist rhetoric as to give up everything to fuel his “socialist paradise”. I believe that the followers fell into two basic camps:those that were truly deluded into thinking he was their socialist god, or those whose pride would not let them admit that they were wrong. We are on the same path in this country today.

The kid who did the “capitalism will fail” tile is probably just a teacher’s pet giving the adults want they want.

Doesn’t mean that he actually buys it- just that he is well aware of his surroundings and what views he needs to have to survive and thrive.

His real attitude probably leans more toward apathy in the political process- afterall he is 14.

My nephew goes to University of Berkeley ...he’s a capitalist and very bright BUT his politics are LEFT. It’s crazy. He had a perfect S.A.T. and was asked to visit somem very good schools ... BUT chose Berkely.

...one of the best private K-8 schools in the city.

How many private K-8 schools are there in Berkley?

It makes me wonder what careers these students will choose when they get a little bit older. I imagine that quite a few of them will become community organizers, union bosses, Democrat politicians, and ambulance chasing lawyers. How many of them will actually produce something constructive? My guess would be none.

Schools can’t instill values...Difficult to teach children the truth when they are surrounded by COMMIE parents and other koooks in Berkley......Might have to wall it off like San Francisco. It would be a great movie.....ESCAPE FROM BERKLEY!! Wonder if Kurt Russel could still play a action hero? LOL

Eh. Young teenage boys winding people up. They don’t realize that if they really wanted to be transgressive in a place like Berkeley, they’d do better to write “Question Diversity.”

Looks like they were taken over by the pee-cee NAZIs in `96. The school was opened in `73.

http://www.bpcweb.net/official/inclusion/inclusion.html

•Diversity Committee was created in 1996 to address issues of inclusion and equanimity in education. The committee is made up of parents, faculty, administrators and board members of the school. The goals of the committee are far-reaching and include curriculum development, community partnerships and teacher training.

The mission of BPC outreach is to create an inclusive community across class, race, family type and background. To this end, increasing diversity in our student body has been a main priority. The school conducts outreach to under-served populations through attendance at local fairs and open houses. Parents also do their own outreach and network to link families across communities . The Diversity Committee meets monthly to plan school-related and outreach events that support its stated mission. Additionally, the committee sponsors two free school-wide events: BPC Family International Potluck and BPC Film Night. (see Events below)
Please contact Paul Kranz for more information.

Mission Statement of the Diversity Committee:

"The Black Pine Circle Diversity Committee works to support the mission of the school. We believe that diversity promotes important values within our community and prepares students for citizenship in a pluralistic world. In order to achieve continued academic excellence and sustain a vibrant educational environment, the Committee seeks to recognize and draw on the talents of a diverse background of faculty, staff and students, fostering the free expression and sharing of ideas, perspectives and beliefs that promote cultural understanding, tolerance and social justice.”

The Committee seeks to promote the diversity represented in the Bay Area in its student body by actively supporting the recruitment and retention of socio-economically disadvantaged and underrepresented minority students. The Committee values and seeks the hiring and retention of teachers and staff of different racial, cultural and economic backgrounds, sexual orientation and disability status. The Committee seeks to promote the thoughtful examination of cultural distinctions by supporting curricula that prepare students to be culturally competent members of society.

100% commie barf.

These idiots don’t realize that capitalism is what allows them to go to private school.

Yearly tuition:

Grades K-5.......$15,400
Grades 6-8........$17,100

To the nimrod who drew the crossed out dollar sign under the hammer and sickle, here's what you 'commie' parents are paying your doofus school.

If they’re state supported, it’s time for the taxpayers of CA to rise up and say, “NO MORE!” Get the funding cut. These nuts running the University and teaching there will leave.
