I started a new group on Facebook in support of Iranian liberty.
The corrupt, totalitarian, Islamic terroristic regime in Tehran is ripe for a fall by the people of Iran who are seeking liberty.
If the US government in general, and specifically the Executive Branch of government under the President will not take a direct and principled stand, then we the people should support the Iranian people seeking liberty and make our voices heard...clearly and loudly.
This group is dedicated to amassing the voices of millions of Americans in support of the Iranian people, who, bolstered by the measure of liberty that the people of the nations on either side of them (Iraq and Afghanistan) have attained (thanks to the policies of George Bush), are now inspired to seek for themselves.
God bless them in that effort, and God bless all who will stand and openly, forthrightly support them in that effort in any way we can, materially, morally, politcally, through prayer, through protest and action of our own.
There is a unique opportunity in history occurring in those lands. Iraq and Afghanistan, for the 1st time in their modern history, have free governments and peoples, despite the best efforts of terrorists, tyrants, ideologues, and nay-sayers. God grant that despite those same opponents and inaction by some in our own lands, that liberty might take root and spread in that part of the globe.
“This is some crazy mentality to find on FR”
Yeah, it is a topsy turvy world we are living in. I actually muttered “I wish Hillary had one” a few times and then almost bit my tongue till it almost bled.
Hillary had WON, not one. Sheesh. Long day.
*laugh*
Hillary might have one, hope I will never know
Re. your: “Fill it tips on Guerrilla Warfare.”...
If that guy who probably had the election stolen from him (I wonder if ACORN has an office in Tehran?) was a true LEADER, he would be doing a lot more than just waving to his supporters and speaking noble platitudes.
He would be setting up and delegating specific objectives to select groups, organizing the resistance, establishing a command structure and logistics base, and working with sympathetic members of the military or black market arms dealers to get at least some basic small arms and ammo to people who know how to use them.
If the tanks are coming, they had better get ahold of at least some RPGs and waste no time about it.
He would be working with men with military experience to develop tactics and contingency plans; how to care for the wounded without having them exposed to capture (or worse), procure supplies, feed and house people (if they go home after the demonstrations the Mullah’s thugs may follow them and they might not be there in the Morning), arrange transportation and communications systems etc.. Is anyone doing that?
Successful revolutions usually happen when people who know what they are doing instigate them... like Che Guevera for instance. Is this Rastenjani (or whatever his name is) a LEADER, or simply another Politician?
The fate of his Nation may well depend on that distinction.
If this effort remains as a mob action, it - as well as many of it’s participants - are doomed.
Done
I just joined and invited friends.
Thanks. God bless. My motto now is, to the Iranian people, “American’s don’t need Obama to sepak for us, we are free and speak for ourselves!”
Have joined your group.

I have this feeling that in 10 years, the (freely elected) Iranian parliament will pass a resolution condemning the oppression in the US. Looking at these former commie countries lecturing us about returning to capitalism, it doesn't seem so far-fetched.
thanks, Jeff. I just joined
