I think Republic may have been referring to Krauthammer as the brilliant one. Personally, I’m not convinced that Obama is in that league, intellectually speaking. If he’s so sharp, why can’t he talk without a teleprompter? But I agree with you, RK, about Obama’s relationship to the truth. Eventually more people are going to see it, and O’s poll numbers will slowly but surely erode.
I observed back during the campaign that he had mastered the art of relating a persuasive (for devotee consumption) canard. Bet he's been refining it all his life.
