The Republican Party was founded to abolish slavery. The election of the first Republican President was the root cause for secession. Then he was assassinated after the emancipation of the black American slaves.
The current DemonRat leadership in Washington needs to pay out of their own pockets. They are the recipients of the power and wealth generated by the institution of slavery. They are the ones who consistently opposed freedom and the legitimate wealth that is created when people are free to produce and trade without the chains of government interference.
I am opposed to reparations because reparations were paid in blood between 1861-1865.
BUT let’s be reasonable. If we pay it they can NEVER come back and demand MORE! Or willl they? Will the next generation demand the same, and their kids and those after them?
What of Somalis and other late African arrivals? Will they want to get in on the money pie?
Perhaps we should give in and give each one a certain ammount as they get off the boat in AFRICA.
Then there are all those indentured servants who were brought here as slaves from England and Ireland..What about them!
Oh, did I mention the Chinese?
