I used to think so, until I heard him advocating VOCIFEROUSLY for Terri Schiavo to be murdered. :-(
My respect for him went down several notches, although much of the time I agree with him on many issues. Murdering innocent people, though, not so much.
Probably because he talks about being a libertarian all the time, but then says we should do what government says anyway. Like today, when he said we should fill out age/race/gender forms in the census, because its the law. Or, a few months ago when he said he told some guy off in a movie theater for having a 4 year old at “The Wrestler.” There may be people who think it is acceptable, and they will tell strangers what they should or should not do. But if he were really a libertarian, he wouldnt try to tell someone else how to parent their child.
It’s just his double standard of saying he is a libertarian, but acting as a coercive agent. The same reason we are all mad at the Republicans.
I like most of Rush’s subs. I just dont like Mark Davis because I live in Frisco, and he is the local morning guy. And he talks a good game, but he doesnt practice it. He may be more Hannity than Hannity, trying so hard not to offend anyone. I think of Hannity and Davis as Sorority Republicans, trying to get the nice vote and the caring vote, and not trying to be too honest.
