Wow, is it that time again? I got the long form last time and battled the Bureau endlessly when I refused to let them know how many toilets were in my house (amongst other data).
"2 adults". Signed it. Sent it back.
Not a peep out of 'em.
This time, they'll get "2 adults. 2 children."
Eff 'em.
A quick read of the law tells me that I am required to answer questions about me, my family, and any farm or farms I own.
There is no requirement to answer questions about my finances, my house, my toilet, my TV, my internet or phone service, my vehicles, my pets, or my furniture.
Since I don't own a farm, that pretty much leaves just family member names and ages.
Last time I got a form that aside from the basics had a buch of race and 'ethnic identity' questions. I gave them the basics I left them all the race/ethnicity questions blank. I never heard back from them.
Why?
I got the long form as well. Filled in the number of people correctly, then went to town with the other questions. I have the only house in Texas with 2 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. I am a mixed race of Alaskan eskimo, Italian and Boroguese. (Love to see somone figure that one out). Ass hats, if they want a whole bunch if info, all they have to do is go to the IRS or the DMV. All they need to know is there.
