Aks are not common with the average citizens, not in Iran. Have you even looked at some of the videos that have come out of Iran? At great risk to the people sending them I might add. There are some pretty graphic scenes of people who have been shot and stabbed and beaten to death.
In some instances the people have stormed Basij headquarters buildings and set them on fire killing some of the "thugs" as Iranians refer to them. However, for the most part they are unarmed and have to depend on sheer numbers to fight back.

Oh, I see Hussein and the Mullahs have something else in common. Making sure that the populace is unarmed, for their own protection of course. We wouldn't want them hurting themselves or others with firearms.
