The only way we will restore our constitutional and God given rights, short of total social and economic collapse, is to awaken the smokers to the scientific truth about smoking -- antismoking is a money making scam by big pharma and its stooges resting entirely on junk science. In contrast, the hard science (experiments, randomized trials) has demonstrated in thousands of research papers that tobacco smoke is not only harmless but it is the single most beneficial health supplement and youth elixir, synthetic or natural, humans have ever known. The sooner we spread the word about these facts, the sooner we will see smoking restored to its natural place, where it was when USA was at its best. The negative social attitude toward smoking coincides with national decline, economic and cultural (since such upside down perception of reality is a sign of general scientific and moral corruption which in turn results in national decline), while the positive attitude (such as that of present day China, or Japan in 1980s) of rising nations.
This pattern mimics on a large scale the effects of tobacco smoke on an individual smoker -- just recall the revitalizing effect of taking a smoke break after hours of hard or stressful work where you were prohibited from smoking. Nations are social organisms and these organisms are smokers (note that just as only some subset of your cells interacts directly with tobacco smoke particles, so does only a subset of cells of the social organism, smokers, interacts with them at that level).
Our nation is already overdue for a 'smoke break' and in few years you will see the social perception of smoking make a 180 degree turn and swing back, reaching likely even higher than it was in 1940s and 1950s. Before that happens, though, the smokers themselves will have to learn the real scientific facts about smoking, which will break the spell of antismoking brainwashing and help them shake off the chains of the present propaganda matrix.
