It was her right arm and using your fingers to press keys on a keyboard requires a great deal from you elbow. The muscles that move your fingers are largely in your forearm and one end of them attaches up near your elbow. With all the soft tissue damage at the point where they tie in it’s very difficult to move your fingers. Damage to the elbow pretty much makes your entire arm useless.
