A spokesman for the Olive Garden disputed a report from Politicothat the restaurant chain pulled its advertising from the David Letterman show due to jokes about Sarah Palins daughter.
Information reported today by Andy Barr of Politico regarding Olive Gardens advertising on the Late Show with David Letterman was erroneous. No authorized spokesperson for the company confirmed the information in his report, said Olive Garden spokesman Rich Jeffers in an email to The Vote.
The Olive Garden media schedule is planned months in advance. The schedule for the Late Show with David Letterman was completed earlier this month. We take all guest concerns seriously. And, as always, we will factor those concerns in as we plan our advertising schedule in the future, he continued.

Oh, oh. Cancel the proposed dinner at Olive Garden.
Olive Garden sucks anyway...No “Italian” would be caught dead in there! Their food is NASTY..
Damn...and I sent them a nice email!
They’re probably getting it from the other side now.
In 1992, I had a salad there, which contained shrimp. The shrimp was at the bottom of the salad and still had the tails. I wasn’t paying attention and swallowed the tail (there were other crunchy parts in the salad, so it didn’t feel strange).
When it went down it perforated my esophagus and I spent the weekend in the hospital. Hopefully they don’t put tails on the shrimp in the salad, or they put them on top of the salad, so you can see them.
FYI
I have never eatenthere but would imagine that the food there is along the lines of Chef Boyardee....I am of Italian heritage and rather cook dinner for my family.
The food SUCKS at the Olive Garden bigtime. There is simply no reason to go there, commercial or not.
Dump Olive Garden.
I’m not interested in their chicken game anymore. They can cater to the leftists and pervs.
Sounds like Olive Garden found out that ALL of their kitchens were suddenly not in compliance with gubbmint standards!
It’s all good, I have never eaten there anyway. We don’t have an Olive Garden around here, and if we did, I would never eat there. Its basically nothing more then a Soup Plantation

Sorry about your accident. I eat a lot of chicken, in burritos and bowls, where it is disguised among the other ingredients.
Chewing is the only safeguard, and occasionally I will find a bone, in my mouth.
Chewing improves digestion, slows down eating, even reduces calorie intake, if that matters.
I hear ya...No more wishy-washy...they’re done!
Nasty is being kind..
Last time we ate at the Olive Garden, I became ill with lower GI distress soon after..
So what is the best way to re-contact Olive Garden and “fix” their “we did not change our schedule” report?
I told you that chick with the non-apology was slimy.
Hmph!
