FYI, when someone in the military calls you "Ma'am", it's a sign of RESPECT. The title is not sexist, nor is it degrading. However, your demand to be called SENATOR was both elitist and demeaning to the Brigadier General. Please apologize to the Brigadier General NOW!

We the common folk, those with no particular rank or title, are sick of the daily displays of American Royalty.
