It is harder to get a new customer than to retain and old one. If existing ones are bailing, then potential new ones are not even listening.
Olive Garden just earned a customer for an evening dine-out.
I love this resturant. Although I have not been there since my surprise 30th birthday party....I am 40 now if that gives you any idea how long it has been. lol.
We may have to make a run to the Olive Garden this weekend.
Cant wait to go to Olive Garden!
Letterman was funny in the 80’s. That was before he became an obsequious suck-up to the Hollywood Left.
It always happens this way. People LOVE controversy. Letterman probably did this on purpose. This was the biggest gift conservatives could have given him. He knows that conservatives don’t watch the show anyway...what he did was wake up those independents who probably weren’t too interested in his show and now they are watching. The only problem with this scenario...it won’t last more than a year. His ratings will be great until Summer 2010 and then return to the original ratings.
Glad Olive Garden dumped Letterman, but Ms. Bruen's non-apology sounds a lot like what Letterman tried first.
She should have apologized for having the bad judgment to get involved with Letterman in the first place.
Good news.
I will take my wife to an Olive Garden this weekend.
“We are coming, we are coming for you.......”
Fantastic News!! I love the Olive Garden!
If you want good conduct, reward it & quit complaining. Take your family to Olive garden.
*snicker* *snort*
“Wow, pulled AFTER the apology. Im stunned”
Dave insulted the customers of Olive Garden. People know that when Letterman calls the Palins trailer trash, he’s talking about them as well.
We may yet take Lettermolester’s scalp...
Well done Olive Garden AND Freepers for that matter. Tulsa Olive Garden at 71st & Memorial, here I come.
Making reservations for a party of 20 at Olive Garden right now.
This is great news. For those of you so inclined, please send thank you emails or calls to the companies who end up doing the right thing. Thank Embassy Suites, Hellman’s and Olive Garden to let them know you appreciate their decision. Thanks!
Guess where I'm going to lunch tomorrow.
Thanks OG!
Worse than “rude and crude”
