NEW YORK - Monica Weeks has met many men, but at age 51 she says she still hasn't found her "Barack."
Among Weeks and her friends, President Barack Obama's name has become shorthand for a black man with integrity, character and spirituality, one who loves and values his wife and makes his family a priority — in other words, the kind of man that many black women had despaired of finding.
Weeks said probably every single woman she knows is looking for her "Barack." "He absolutely makes me think it's attainable," said Weeks, a divorced mom in Somerset, N.J. "For women who are older and seeking a man, I think we can look at him and say, 'All is not lost.'"

What black women want:
A lying metrosexual who legally takes others’ hard-earned money and gives it to them.
Now I got it.
There are lots of black men with integrity, loyalty, personal courage, spiritual development, kindness, warmth, love of children, etc. The trouble is that most of them got married early and stayed married. Sure, there are some cases in which a stupid self-centered ungrateful woman abandoned an exemplary man. But the chances are good that a really together, well-balanced man chose wisely in the first place and has now been married for twenty or thirty years.
What these women are looking for is a fine man who had some shortcomings that worked together with his wife’s shortcomings to create a divorce, but he has now corrected the flaws and is working to be a better person. He must also have remained unembittered by the trashing he took from the family court Injustice System. Such people are rare, in either gender. If you find one, snap him up.

I really don’t get the fascination with this guy.
To me, he is not handsome ... heck, he isn’t even cute. He’s not dog-ugly but sorry, he is not even close to drop-dead gorgeous, certainly not enough to warrant this sycophantic, drooling of the guy.
Last month’s Details magazine, a metrosexual rag, had an article sugguesting that openly supporting Obama will make a man into a chick magnet. Michelle Obama made the Maxim top 100 Hot Women list for 2009. Plus Obama is on the cover of several comic books. The media is determined to make the Messiah into a cultural icon that must be worshipped.
