Just in point of fact, Jay Carney, who is now Biden's Communication Director was the Bureau Chief for Time Magazine.
His wife, Claire Shipman, is the Sr. National Correspondent (currently) for ABC News, and is still a frequent contributor on "This Week's" round table discussion.
Now we’ve got ABC and NBC catfighting over who gets to carry Obama’s water.
Do you mean the “statist generation”? The left has long celebrated the soft collectivism of that generation. Despite its bravery and sacrifice in WWII, the statist generation did not defend individual liberty at home.

At this point, if a story came out tomorrow stating “New wing to be built onto White House; to house network news studios.”, I wouldn’t be surprised.
