Obama already covered for this by dissing Fox News as not having anything positive to say about him and being against him and his cabinet.
To: Logical me
Walpin is a brave fellow to speak out like that.
I’m sure the Baraqqi secret police are hard after him now.
God bless and protect him.

Why do I get the sick feeling he’s going to disappear into some asylum for the rest of his life?

Did they slip something in his drink to make him confused before the meeting?
He doesn’t really say he wasn’t confused in the full article.

So why is Sacramentos mayor still in office and not in jail. Because the Obama-appointed federal attorney has already taken a dive like a mob bribed boxer. Walpin was supposed to follow that lead instead of continuing to investigate.

Why do I get the sick feeling hes going to disappear into some asylum for the rest of his life?He better first think about staying away from Ft. Marcy Park.

If he didn't have a target on his back before,
Gerald Walpin surely does now. Maybe this whole thing is because he went to Yale Law, not Harvard Law.
You know that old joke -- the Harvard lawyer meets someone in a private club and says, "So, you went to Yale Law?"
The Yale lawyer, flattered, says, "Yes -- how did you know?"
The Harvard lawyer says, "I read your class ring while you were picking your nose."

I guess Fort Marcy Park is now forever ingrained in our cuture. (Maybe Paul Shanklin could cut an homage to the tune of McArthur Park?)

"I would never say President Obama doesn't have the capacity to continue to serve because of his (statement) that there are 56 states," Walpin said, adding that the same holds for Vice President Biden and his "many express confusions that have been highlighted by the media."I love this guy. The Obamination thought they could get away by implying this guy was a 76yo senile, old fool and what they didn't count on is that he is ACTIVELY defending himself.
If the pussified Republicans had been doing this for eight years they may still have Congress and the White House.

My 2 cents:
We did pretty well with the Letterman campaign...
Maybe we ought to swarm the news outlets demanding more in-depth and accurate coverage of this issue. Attack this as the next battle in the war.
The corrupt double-standard must die.

“Walpin concluded that his firing stems from bad blood between him and the board, as well as with Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson — an Obama supporter whom he had investigated for alleged misuse of federal funds”
He actually proved it - some 50% misuse of funds.

The New York Times, as you might suspect, is right on top of the story. Ditto: the Washington Post, LA Times, Boston Globe, et al.
