Not to mention that it is Romaine Lettuce and has bolted due to the warm weather. I live in Norhtern VA and threw mine in the compost pile on Monday.

Not to mention that it is Romaine Lettuce and has bolted due to the warm weather. I live in Norhtern VA and threw mine in the compost pile on Monday. Peasant! Real lettuce gardeners have outside air conditioners to keep the plants at the proper temperature until it is time for the photo op/harvest.

I just picked the last of my leaf lettuce and my peas, both snap and regular, were done about 10 days ago. I live about 50 miles south of the district. Too wet this spring, as I cannot even get to the garden to weed.
