Great TV summer, but not in ratings
It’s been a first-rate summer for sports, and most of the broadcast networks are airing hit summer shows. Yet the broadcast networks are suffering during their off season.
Each of the networks is doing worse so far this summer, including last weeks No. 1 network in 18-49s, ABC, and that’s even after getting a hefty boost from it coverage of the NBA championship games, three of which were the weeks highest-rated shows.
