Hundreds of demonstrators protesting against the transfer of four Guantanamo Bay inmates to Bermdua branded their prime minister Ewert Brown a "dictator" and demanded he step down after negotiating a secret deal witht he United States.
About 600 people gathered outside Parliament in Hamilton, the island's capital, chanting "Brown must go" and waving banners as they marched to the Cabinet office.
But Mr Brown was defiant. "As some of you might know, I grew up in the protest era," he shouted at the booing crowd. "This is nothing new to me. I have seen them larger and longer," he said.
Mr Brown negotiated a secret deal with the US last week members of China's Muslim Uighur minority to be sent to the British Isle. The Foreign Office was not informed and the Obama administration also bypassed the British.
The US, which is desperate to unload the prisoners to fulfil a promise made by president Barack Obama to close the jail by next January, said it could not send the Uighurs to China because they faced persecution there.
Congress, however, blocked efforts to release them in the US, even though they had long ago been deemed no threat.
David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, protested to Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, about the secret deal and questioned whether Mr Brown had authority to admit the Uighurs. Britain is responsible for the foreign policy and security of Bermuda.

I think Brown is making fun of the protestors, believing they pose no threat to his power. Big ego this guy has. No wonder obama was able to snooker him.
Hmmmm. I’d like to know if there have been any recent and large deposits to this guy’s secret Swiss bank account.
So let me get this straight, Zero made a secret deal to pawn off his Chinese nationalist prisoners to a Britain territory which is a touristy type of resort without the knowledge of the British or Chinese government.
Zero is just making friends right and left, pun intended. So now this has pissed off the Bermudans, the British, the Chinese and the U.S. citizens that are footing the bill.
Sounds like the people in Bermuda aren’t very happy about Barack the Kenyan turning their island into an Islamofascist terrorist training camp.

I don’t know how reliable this site is, but I suspect that the basic facts are probably correct, or they’d have been sued for libel.

Other low life politicians who have seen them “larger and longer” include,Barney Frank, Larry Craig,and about 20
% of Massachusetts residents!
Rush was talking about this on his show today. He was staying that we are footing the bill, but didn’t say how much money. Rush would have said if he knew.
I am sure that the U.S. through Zero also crossed the palm of the PM of Bermuda with some money.
Obama needs to tell me why....
Hotel? They're not in a hotel. They are in a cottage overlooking the ocean at some resort. The cost is about $180 a night. I don't know if that is per person or if it is for all four of them.

Wow. It looks like they really have the goods on Brown’s son. Four million dollar bond.
I suspect the charges against the son will be dropped, much like the charges against the new black panther thugs who were intimidating voters.

There is no ‘accusation’, simply a desire to understand and circulate the incredible circumstances that have occurred and for which no one appears accountable. The sites are reliable and as you say, action would have been taken - I understand Mr Brown has an advisor, Julian Hall, who I feel could provide ample advice about the law to the Premier - more about Mr Hall can be found using Google.
