Thanks for the HM presentation, Conor.

Long ago we had an HM3 aboard our ship who served with FMF. While in that billet, he sustained wounds on three separate incidents. Awarded three Purple Heart Medals, he was transfered out of Vietnam to continue his enlistment aboard our ship. A great guy, featured in a Stars and Stripes article way back when.

Well, isn't this nice? Thank you for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities. Great thread, too!

Now for our local DC Metroland weather report

~ Today.... Cloudy with occasional rain showers. High 69F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

~ Tonight.... Overcast with rain showers at times. Low 64F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Looks like more of the same. But look at our highs today. If this keeps up I may never get to the beach.
Farmer's Almanac says we'll have more of the same in July.

It seems our building is still having issues.
Had an email this morning from yesterday saying that there was another failure and there was the possibility we'd have no access again. But it must have gotten fixed quickly because......HERE I AM! LOL

BUT....if I'm suddenly gone missing and I don't answer your pings it may be because we're down again.

Oh, before I forget....I'll be out of the Canteen all day tomorrow, I think. I have an early morning appointment.
