At the link if the procession carrying the body of SFC John Beale from Falcon Field, Peachtree City GA to the Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Home in McDonough, GA on June 11, 2009. The procession crossed three counties but the turnout was amazing all the way as we saluted our hero who gave his life in defense of freedom. God bless SFC Beale and be with his family.
This is a longer video so you will need more tissue.
Rest in peace. God Bless those who mourn him.
Caution: Major League tissue alert.
Note - the response from ‘orinary folk’ shows there is still hope for the Nation.
Thanks for posting...
Rest in Peace brave American soldier.
I was part of this processional...John and I went to high school together. Probably the most amazing and powerful ride you could ever be a part of. Tragic reason, but heroic sendoff.
Awesome. Thanks for being there for him and his family.
A large and heartfelt USAF salute.
God bless him and all who mourn his passing.
Regards,
AR
My thoughts exactly. Everyone in that video displayed who we are as Americans.
God Bless SSGT Beale and his family.
Somehow, I don’t think Dear Leader understands what motivated
those Georgians to stand there, probably for hours, for the opportunity to pay respects for the few seconds it took
for the vehicles to pass them by.
And sadly, I don’t think many of obama’s voters would understand either. With each passing day I have less and
less respect for the people who voted for him.
What a heart-wrenching moment.
Thank you so much for sending us that...
Rest in peace, Staff Sgt. Beale, God knows you earned it. And thank you for your sacrifice and your love for this country.
I think maybe I might have to replay a few times. My monitor was so blurry the first time I couldn’t see too good.
Rest in Peace S/Sgt Beale, America thanks YOU and the thousands of others that have given their lives for us.
I shudder to think of the fearsome price this nation will pay if the sacrifice of such citizens is for naught...
God Bless the fine people of the State of Georgia. That video shows a part of America that the New York Times doesn’t even know exists.
Georgia is still part of America, God bless her and may God accept the Sergeant and protect his family.
What a beautiful tribute - thank you for sharing. Very, very blurry eyes right now.
Since this funeral we have done yet another here in Georgia, in northwest GA for a First Sgt who was killed by an RPG. Same sort of turnout, same sort of respect. We love our military here in Georgia.
