Too bad he didn't use this chance to say that he's buying a Ford because it is the only free American car company left.

I don’t care what kind of car this “climate change” supporting nut buys. Remember the “Global Warming” sign he held up before the election? What a conservative fraud.

If I buy a new F-250 and pick up a pack of AA’s. Does that count?

He will still fly around the country in private jets, but driving a Ford Fusion for two or three photo ops will more than offset that.

The Fusion is a very nice car. The milage is actually much higher than the new EPA spec., for a self-trained driver.
I blogged (more or less) positively on the car on my private tech site and got a reply from some of their marketing folks dedicated to managing their on-line image.
They were nice, and I was impressed that they were thinking about on-line marketing.
Ford has come a long way.
I have noted that they seem to be the only manufacturer that qualified for big tax credits under the current federal program. Funny thing, isn’t it? Guess they think about lobbying congress too.

I like that he bought American unlike some other legislators who have no problem using our money to buy a Lexus. He also didn't buy from Government Motors. Unfortunately he is still a Rhino.
