He’ll never recover from this. Connie Chung and Dan Rather also crossed the line and we haven't seen much of them since then.

No he won’t recover — it’s far too late for this second, revised, carefully worded apology, and Letterman was on the skids before this happened.

I hope that New Yorkers still plan to picket his idiot show in Manhattan tomorrow. BTW, the theater is at 53rd and Broadway or thereabouts.

A lamebrained leftist Letterman-fan relative of mine can see the theater entrance from her office window so PLEASE make it worthwhile for her to stop work and look out the window for awhile tomorrow!
