Maybe it was fixed but maybe it wasn't. Do we really know that a majority of the people of Iran are all that anxious to have a western-style country. I'm sure that the young students are but what about the old-line Muslims. Do we know the demographics? I don't. Do we really trust any pre-election poll in Iran? I don't. So I'm personally neutral on the issue of the election being stolen. Could be it was. Probably it was. But we will never really know for sure.

In any case the key issue for us is Obama's position on the subject. Clearly there are millions of Iranians who are unhappy with their current oppressive government. Even if they are a minority they still represent the side that we as a nation should stand with. George Bush did. Freepers do. But what about Obama? Where does he stand? All we have is silence from the Obama administration. So we don't know his position but suspect he is with whoever is in power and that means the Mullahs and ImaNutJob. What a wimp. A dangerous man to have as President in a dangerous time.

It’s fixed from the get-go. Candidates cannot run unless approved by the unelected Mullahs.
