Daschle's Connection to the Myers' Spy Case

Friday, I noticed that Tom Daschle was handling foreign affairs for then-Senator Abourezk when Gwendolyn Myers, accused of spying for Cuba along with her husband, was also on the Abourezk payroll and when in 1977 Abourezk took two South Dakota basketball teams to Cuba.

I thought the trip, if she worked on it, would have given her an opportunity to make contact with Cuban intelligence agents, for it occurs to me that she must have had such contact before an agent made his way to Pierre, South Dakota to formally enlist Gwen and her husband in the service of Cuba intelligence. I sent him the following email and received no response

Tom Daschle and his wife worked for Abourezk when Gwen Myers did and when Aboourezk made his famour trip to Cuba in 1977. Is that when Gwen first came in contact with Cuban intelligence?

So just as it occurs to me that the Anthrax Attack may have been, in part, directed at Tom Daschle for some slight or offense he may have made to Fidel Castro, and then trying to figure out if this spy-couple may have played a part, I went back to the whole article and read this:

"Chuck Trebilcock said his ex-wife attended high school in Yankton with Tom Brokaw, the former anchor for NBC Nightly News. Brokaw did not respond to a request to talk about his acquaintance with Gwen Steingraber. "

Finding Tom Brokaw in the same list with Tom Daschle sent a chill up and down my back. Now, where's the Leahy guy? Is he involved in this? Was this a Castro hit on SEVERAL people he felt had betrayed him?

Was Bruce Ivins gumbahs with any of these people or perhaps a "mutual friend" who would have had access to his stocks of anthrax bacteria?
