With the clock ticking on health care reform legislation, President Obama has guaranteed American taxpayers that his administration will pay for any overhaul without adding to the deficit.
Lawmakers, however, don't have quite as firm a handle on how they'll actually accomplish it.
Though Obama has outlined nearly $950 billion in savings and revenue to offset the cost of a program tagged at about $1 trillion over the next decade, some fear the actual price tag could be much higher and question whether Obama's estimates about a coming windfall in government savings are accurate.

Barry: “You will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime.”
Boehner Statement on Presidents Speech to American Medical AssociationRight now the Malpractice Insurance Co's run the medical system. ALL because of those junk lawsuits they have to pay or fight by bottom feeding trial lawyers.
Real medical liability reform must establish tough standards to reform the medical liability system, encourage the speedy resolution of claims, and deter junk lawsuits. If President Obama is serious about reducing the skyrocketing cost of health care, hell press his own party to include real medical liability reform as part of a reform package that puts patients and doctors in charge of their health care rather than putting government in charge.
Now this is utterly ridiculous. It used to be six months and now its 3. But at 3 months my insurance won't pay for this useless 'follow up' office visit.I just saw my Dr and my BP was 117/82 (pretty darn good). BUT I have to go back and see him in 3 stinking Months for a "BP Follow Up". When he said that I was like WTF? I asked him why 3 months and he said ... "My Malpractice Insurance Co Says So."
Maybe I'll send that $185.00 bill to The Kenyan.
(yep, $185.00 for an office visit where the Nurse does the work and I get five minutes of the Dr's time)
