I chuckle a little when I see someone say "you wouldn't stand a chance against the government." Like hell we wouldn't.
I think that the murders that were just perpetrated by the government’s thugs will make the people running away from the thug with batons on scooters that they have nothing to lose by working together to snatch the baton away and beat the hell out of the thug.
You know, there are multiple reasons for this. I understand that a number of military personnel were polled about what they would do if ordered to fire on American civilians. Most said they would recognize it as an illegal order, and not do it.
I've heard comments about how impossible it would be to resist an F-16, but my thought is that it has to land somewhere, it needs fuel and maintenance, and the pilot needs to eat. When an F-16 is based outside the area of conflict it can be devastating, but it's another story when it requires local support.
As for your comment about "target practice", I've seen amateurs, who are simply very good with a handgun, double tap five targets in about a second. There may well be thousands of American civilians who are that good.
