Now maybe more games will be broadcast over channels everyone gets. Not everyone gets NHLN or Versus.

I hope so.

I always thought it would be better to sign a deal for less money with a larger network (ESPN) to get more viewers.

But Versus certainly has grown since they signed with Bettman, so it was a good deal for them.
