Oh my God, so now cops can’t shoot people.
I am generally disgusted with your comments and don’t appreciate being called sheeple.
I am so glad you were an eyewitness to this event. Would you please call the dept and report your account, because I am sure they want to hear from you.

Let me guess.
You are married to a cop and they can do no wrong.
Am I close?

Oh my God, so now cops cant shoot people. You aare definately lacking in the logic department. How you can come to that conclusion is beyond me but let me clear it up for you. Cops shouldn't respond to calls to prevent a suicide attempt by shooting and killing the person they were called to HELP!

Are you freaking kidding me? They shot they guy they came to save. Yes, cops should not do that. They can't claim selfe defense if they escolated the situation. Just like I can't go pick a fight with a big biker dude and then shoot him with my legally carried gun and then claim self defense. If I start or escolate a fight then it is not self defense.
If they thought going into this guys room would help then they were clearly wrong. Period. They made a mad call. I am SURE the guy did something stupid. However had the cops made the rigth call they would not have been in the position to have to shoot him. They were in control of when and where and how the confrontation too place. They chose those conditions. They did it wrong. They should be held accountable. When 'failure to follow police instructions' is an instant capitol offense then we all become slaves.
