I guess if you aren’t producing any at all it is terrible, and you would have to have some replacement hormones regardless of the risk. Better to have some quality of life than be bouncing off the walls. While there is risk, knowing that you can also watch carefully and manage that risk.
There’s always going to be a risk with me; I suppose; but I don’t like bouncing off the walls. I remember a friend who had it much worse than me. Hormones didn’t work with her and her body was totally messed up to begin with. I remember us chunking ice on ourselves in front of the a/c vent due to hot flashes. People thought we were crazy and I suppose we were; but when you have hot flashes; you feel good one minute litteraly and than really bad the next.
