I belong to a church that points out that there is law and gospel. I demand far more from my church than my political party. They are two different things. I want godly people in positions of authority but it is not their job to teach the gospel.

I had to leave an apostate church (the ELCA) which is very much like the modern-day Methodist church.

If people like X can somehow lead the whole Methodist church away from the NCC and return it to being a Biblically-based church, I am all for it. WE would all be better off as churches are going more and more liberal all the time--just like schools and education.

As a matter of fact, I believe that the liberalism in churches is more responsible for the moral decay we have in this country than even education.

If we can't get the truth at our churches, where can we get it?
